Ann E. (Coffey) Anderson, 93, of Sylvania, OH and formerly of Lambertville, MI, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 1, 2018, in Kingston Care Center, Sylvania, OH.  Born August 7, 1924, in Cadillac, MI, she was the daughter of Frank and Anna (Leutzinger) Coffey.  A 1942 graduate of Cadillac High School, she married Orville “Bud” M. Laurent in December of that year. Bud gave his life for his country in the Normandy Invasion during WWII. There was one daughter from this union, Diana Sharon Cody.  Ann  then married George D. Anderson on December 7, 1947 and they made their home in Grand Rapids, Michigan until they moved to Lambertville, Michigan in 1975.  He preceded her in death on November 4, 2011.  Ann attended Wealthy Street Baptist Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan for 25 years and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Toledo, Ohio since 1975.

She is survived by her loving children, Diana S. Cody, Karen J. (Dwayne) Longanecker, and William D.(Collette) Anderson, and 4 grandchildren.  She was also preceded in death by an infant sister, Esther and brothers, Winston and Emerson Coffey.

Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 pm, Monday, February 5, 2018, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Whiteford Union Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church or Ohio Living Hospice.
